Description
Bring the feeling of a winding mountain river and lush forest landscape indoors with Verdant Rapids, an original handcrafted dimensional nature artwork combining preserved moss, sculptural terrain, natural stone, driftwood and a hand-poured resin river.
Designed to resemble an aerial view of a river flowing through a moss-covered landscape, this statement piece brings together the textures and colors of the natural world in a dramatic piece of biophilic wall art.
The turquoise resin river winds through raised earth-toned terrain, natural stones and pieces of driftwood, while preserved moss creates a lush forest landscape around the water. White resin details along the riverbanks and rocks create the appearance of moving water and natural rapids.
Unlike a traditional flat moss wall, Verdant Rapids is highly dimensional. The combination of preserved botanical material, sculpted landscape, resin water, stone and wood gives the artwork depth and texture that changes as you view it from different angles.

ORIGINAL ARTWORK SHOWN
The original Verdant Rapids shown in the photographs measures 72″W × 24″H (6 ft × 2 ft).
The listing photographs show the original artwork as the design reference.
Each Verdant Rapids piece is individually handcrafted. Because I work with natural materials and create the river and landscape by hand, no two pieces will ever be exactly identical.
The shape of the river, moss formations, stones, driftwood and terrain will naturally vary, making every piece an original work of nature-inspired art.
MATERIALS
Verdant Rapids incorporates:
• Preserved natural moss
• Hand-poured epoxy resin river
• Natural stones and gravel
• Natural driftwood and wood elements
• Sculpted dimensional terrain
• Preserved botanical accents
• Hand-finished wood frame
PRESERVED MOSS — NO WATERING REQUIRED
The moss used in this artwork is real preserved moss.
It does not require watering, misting, soil or sunlight.
Preservation allows the moss to retain its natural texture and color while creating a virtually maintenance-free botanical artwork for interior spaces.
For best longevity, display indoors away from prolonged direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
DESIGNED FOR BIOPHILIC INTERIORS
Verdant Rapids works beautifully as statement artwork for:
Luxury residential interiors
Executive offices
Corporate reception areas
Hotel lobbies and lounges
Wellness centers
Spas
Restaurants
Hospitality interiors
Conference rooms
Professional offices
Entryways and foyers
Interior design projects
Its horizontal format creates a dramatic focal point above a sofa, console, reception desk or conference-room credenza.
The artwork can also be displayed vertically, creating the appearance of a river cascading through a tall landscape — ideal for narrow architectural walls, hotel corridors, entryways and executive offices.
MADE TO ORDER
Each Verdant Rapids artwork is created individually in my studio.
Your piece will follow the overall artistic concept shown in the photographs while maintaining the organic variations that make handmade nature art unique.
Natural moss, stones, and driftwood vary in shape, color, and texture. Resin movement is also created by hand, so your river will have its own individual character.
You are purchasing an original handcrafted interpretation of Verdant Rapids — not a factory reproduction.
